Fabric

Acrylic is a synthetic fiber that is very similar to wool. Synthetic fibers have a wear-resistant character. Just like wool, the material is soft, warm and does not crease. An ideal replacement if you are allergic to wool.

Care

Wash garments insideout as much as possible and wash delicate fabrics in a laundry bag. For coloredgarments, use a colored laundry detergent. White detergent may contain bleachand can only be used for pure white laundry. Certainly during the first washes, garments can give off color, so only wash with similar colors.

Tumble dryers use alot of energy, can shrink your garment and cause faster wear. Dry your garmentas much as possible on a drying rack with indirect sunlight. This is not onlymore sustainable, but you can also enjoy your garments for longer.

The washinginstructions described are guidelines for the materials in their purest form. Before washing your garment, always check the washing label on the inside of the garment first.

Washing

Wash acrylic inside out in a laundry bag as much as possible to prevent wear. Wash at a maximum of 30 degrees on a delicate program on the lowest spin setting.

Tip: add fabric softener to reduce static effects.

Drying

Dry acrylic preferably lying on a drying rack. Never put in the tumble dryer.

Ironing

Iron acrylic inside out on a low temperature. A handheld steamer can also help remove the worst creases.

Stains

Acrylic can be treated with liquid detergent applied directly to the stain. Rinse manually and then wash as directed.
